Introducing...Katie

Hey there, Internet. I’m Katie. It’s a pleasure to meet you. You are currently reading my FIRST EVER blog post. Sure, I’ve commented before, but this is for real. Before you decide to dedicate precious minutes of your life to reading any of my future posts, you probably want to know a little bit about me.
I didn’t quite know what to say, so I asked some of my friends what they would say about me.

Because we’re going to be best friends, there are a few things you should know about me. So, here’s a questionnaire.

3. Favorite color – electric blue
4. One thing you would save in a fire – This is a tough question… probably my computer because it has all of my pictures and music
5. Pets- Ummm, no
6. Favorite activity – Going to concerts with my friends
7. Three things to have on a deserted island – Well, obviously, I would bring a plane and a pilot and solve the issue but that would spoil the fun. So, I would have to say my iPod, a book and a friend.

The NEW Vox: Come One - Come All!

So - you've finally arrived! As you probably know, (especially if you're a past-follower of The Vox Box or The Vox newspaper), we've suffered a loss. Well, a big loss. Once funded by The Spokesman-Review newspaper of Spokane, Washington, we lost funding, thus we lost the publication...

But never fear! Rae and I, (with lots of other awesome writing rockstars...) have spearheaded THIS! You're feasting your eyes on the NEW VOX BOX! We got our rights to the name and we hauled it over to BlogSpot. As a baby-blog, we really need you guys to read, comment, spread the word!

It's our passion to getting teens together to voice their opinions, be informed, and blog our brains out! The Vox Box will live on!

As you can see, we're still in the construction-phase: adding our authors and finding our way an identity through 'blog-land', but with YOUR help The Vox Box will rock. Rock on, readers!
